My Felt earrings- warm and wonderful!

The entire last week it was gloomy and i missed sunshine more than anything else i could think of. Temperature was dropping down low and the chilly weather blanketed me through out the day. having nothing to do in the afternoon plus the freezing weather inspired me to make something warm and wonderful, simple and graceful , cozy and cute. Walked into my studio, opened my craft cupboard, pulled out the wool packet and started making some felt balls. Once it was done i decided to put them to the best use i could think of and in the end i was glad i made these.
Love everything about this earring. its warm yellowish orange colour, the way it dangles (how graceful!), and most of all how light weight. :)

my miniature paper bags

I made these bags a month ago and fell in love instantly. Anything small like jewellery, key chains, chocolates, cosmetics , i mean anything and everything small and cute fits into this bag! thank god!!! no more wrapping small gifts in bags three times bigger than its size! :)

New banner for the Holidays

I like the look of my old banner on etsy but still i wanted to make a new one with a clean white layout for my blog. I then decided to carry this same look for my etsy shop. i am not able to decide which one looks better. what say?

Gloomier the noons, more craftier i get!

i hadn't stitched anything for a long while and today after lunch i made this. even though i can't beat my mom in her embroidery skills, but i still think this is pretty neat and yes i am patting my own back! :-)



don't you agree that embroidery needs a lot of patience to unknot the thread?
